Miami-Dade County’s Office of Emergency Management hosts a ''Whole Community Planning Workshop'' with more than 150 partners

 


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

Miami-Dade County’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM), a Division of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR), invited its partners for a “Whole Community Planning Workshop” from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on April 10th and 11th at MDFR Headquarters located at 9300 NW 41st Street in Doral.  The purpose of the two-day event is to enhance disaster plans and protocols for Miami-Dade County and its municipalities.
 
More than 150 partners will meet to discuss current practices and policies in emergency management with the aim of developing new strategies and improving existing plans that will better prepare our community for any manmade or natural disaster.
